Software Quality Analyst
Location: Dallas, TX/Memphis, TN (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months
Seeking for a Software Quality Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated testing solutions for a variety of platforms and technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to our AI-enhanced engineering pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated API and UI testing using Java with WebDriver and TestNG.
- Perform Microservice and REST API testing and automation.
- Conduct Kafka topic and consumer validations.
- Apply AI-enabled quality engineering techniques for debugging and test case generation.
- Utilize Jenkins, Maven, Git, and Stash for continuous integration and version control.
- Build and deploy CI automation pipelines using Jenkins and Docker.
- Perform Messaging and IVR testing as required.
- Coordinate activities between US and remote testing teams.
- Conduct performance testing of APIs using NoSQL databases and performance testing tools.
Skills:
- Strong experience with test automation using Selenium, ReadyAPI, and Rest Assured.
- Proficiency with testing frameworks and tools including JUnit, TestNG, and Postman.
- Hands-on coding ability in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Experience with Atlassian tools including Jira and Bamboo.
- Proficiency with Groovy scripting for use with JMeter and SoapUI.
- Knowledge of cloud-based web application architecture with emphasis on AWS Cloud.
- Experience using Selenium Grid for parallel test execution.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Must Have Skills/Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with messaging/IVR testing.
- 4 years of experience building and deploying CI systems such as Jenkins and Bamboo.
- 5 years of experience in test automation development.
- 5 years of experience with REST and JSON APIs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification is a plus.
