Location: Remote (U.S.)
Type: W-2 contract, 3 year assignment

About the role
Make sure applications work before they go live, for a growing organization in regulated life-sciences manufacturing. Beyond testing, you'll help build the QA discipline itself: choosing tools, setting up test automation and writing the procedures the team will follow.

We're hiring at junior, mid and senior levels. Scope depends on experience.

What you'll do

• Develop and run test plans, test cases and QA procedures
• Identify, document and track defects
• Validate fixes before release
• Develop tools and procedures for testing and automated testing
• Select and implement testing tools
• Help build and grow the software QA discipline across the organization

• Experience in manual and/or automated software QA testing
• Familiarity with defect-tracking tools and, where applicable, automated test frameworks and scripting
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication

• Experience developing tools and procedures for testing and test automation
• Experience evaluating, selecting and implementing testing tools
• Ability to help build and grow a testing discipline within an organization

• QA experience in cGMP-regulated active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing and distribution
• Or, experience at regulated pharmaceutical or life-sciences companies

• Test automation (Selenium, Playwright or Cypress) in Python, Java or C#
• Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, TestRail or Xray
• Computer system validation (IQ/OQ/PQ, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11)
• Running automated tests in CI pipelines

• Junior (0–4 years): Handles assigned tasks under general supervision using established tools and methods.
• Mid (4–8 years): Handles complex assignments on their own and may lead workstreams or small teams.
• Senior (8+ years): Owns complex deliverables, leads teams, mentors staff and works directly with stakeholders.

Work environment

• Extended sitting or standing; ability to lift up to 25 lbs and use stairs.
• Travel up to 5%.
