Software Integration LeadNSWC Carderock Division, Bethesda, MD (Remote)Full-time with benefits*Contingent upon contract award* SDS is seeking a Software Integration Lead in Manassas, VA, to drive the development and integration of software across multiple security domains in a complex system-of-systems environment supporting the Department of Defense. The Systems Integration Lead will develop and sustain Linux-based software in C, C++, and Java, resolve integration issues independently, and work closely with diverse engineering teams and Government stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
Seven (7) years of professional experience with software engineering.
Three (3) years relevant work experience with C, C++, and Java development.
Experience in development and integration of software in an environment including multiple security domains and system-of-systems.
Experience in development and sustainment of Linux based software development.
TS clearance with SCI eligibility

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an ABET accredited college or university in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
Experience with browser-based development and debugging.
Experience building and supporting continuous integration pipelines (e.g. DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting.
Experience with Kubernetes, REST, Docker and containerized microservices.
Experience with managing at least one successful architectural evolution of a software project or set of projects under time and cost constraints
Experience in developing, managing and enforcing successful development processes utilizing a Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline in an agile development environment within the Department of Defense (DOD) including developer peer review.
Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification with experience participating in and helping to lead day-to-day activities of a scrum team or other Agile software development team.
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Demonstrated ability to independently drive integration efforts, proactively identify and resolve issues, and build strong working relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate complex organizational structures and balance between independent action and collaborative problem-solving.
