About The Job:
- Working in the Aimee Team, you will work closely with engineers, data scientists, product teams and experts to build high‐quality prompt architectures that deliver measurable business value.
- The Prompt Engineer is responsible for designing, optimising, and managing prompts that enable Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI systems to perform reliably and effectively.
- This role blends technical problem‐solving and user‐centric design to improve the performance, accuracy, and safety of AI interactions across products and platforms.
Prompt Design & Optimisation
- Create, refine, and test prompts, system instructions, and guardrails for LLM‐powered features and workflows.
- Develop reusable prompt patterns, templates, and best‐practice libraries.
- Conduct prompt evaluations through A/B testing, benchmarking, and user validation.
- Analyse model outputs to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and failure modes.
- Tune prompts to improve accuracy, factual consistency, tone, safety, and task completion rates.
- Collaborate with ML teams to align prompt strategy with model capabilities and limitations.
- Ensure prompts generate responses that match intended tone, style, brand voice, and accessibility standards.
- Work with product and UX teams to design conversational flows that feel natural and Clientive.
- Translate business requirements into prompt logic that enables high‐quality user experiences.
- Partner with engineering teams to integrate prompts into production systems.
- Provide documentation and guidance to teams using LLM-based features.
- Contribute to AI governance, safety reviews, and risk assessments.
- Monitor the performance of deployed prompts and continuously iterate based on analytics and feedback
Essential
- Strong understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, and prompt‐engineering techniques.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to express complex ideas clearly and succinctly.
- Experience designing or testing conversational flows, chatbots, or NLP applications.
- Ability to analyse model outputs and troubleshoot unexpected behaviour.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Experience working with AI platforms (Sprinklr, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google GenAI).
- Knowledge of Python or scripting languages to run tests and evaluations.
- Familiarity with evaluation frameworks (BLEU, ROUGE, toxicity checks, hallucination assessments).
- Background in linguistics, UX writing, content design, or data science.
- Experience with agentic frameworks, retrieval‐augmented generation (RAG), or orchestration tools.
- Curious and experimental; comfortable iterating and challenging assumptions.
- Strong collaborator who works well with cross‐functional teams.
- Bias for quality and precision; committed to safe and ethical AI outcomes.
- User‐centric mindset with strong empathy for customer needs.
- Improved accuracy and reliability of AI model outputs.
- Reduction in hallucinations, errors, or escalation rates.
