TS/SCI Sr Software Engineer (C++/Python | Real-Time/RF Systems) – Mission Critical

Job Description:

We are seeking aSenior Software Engineer (TS/SCI Cleared) with deep experience inreal-time systems, communications, and RF-related applications to support a high-priority mission within the Intelligence Community.

This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who thrives in low-latency, high-throughput environments and has experience building full-stack solutions that interface with complex hardware or signal-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develophigh-performance, real-time software systems usingC/C++ and Python
• Build and maintainfull-stack applications supporting mission workflows and data processing
• Work oncommunications systems involving signal ingestion, processing, and distribution
• Optimize systems forlow-latency and high-throughput performance
• Integrate software withRF-based or hardware-adjacent systems
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders in Agile environments
• Support deployment, testing, and troubleshooting in classified environments

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance (or higher)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 20+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in:
  • C/C++ (systems-level development)
  • Python (SWORD or similar mission frameworks)
  • Full-stack development
• Experience withreal-time or near real-time processing systems
• Background incommunications systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience withRF systems, signal processing, or SIGINT-related work
• Familiarity withlow-level system optimization and concurrency
• Experience supportingIC or DoD mission environments
• Exposure to distributed systems or modern containerized environments
