Pay Rate: $65.00 to $70.00 per hr.

We are seeking a Software Engineer III to join a team supporting significant security, infrastructure, and application-development initiatives. The team is strengthening its infrastructure and source code while also working through a major CI/CD deployment modernization. This role is ideal for a strong .NET engineer who can contribute immediately and bring depth in .NET, ASP.NET Core, and microservices architecture. Experience with modern CI/CD technologies, Angular, API gateways, and the team's existing deployment tools is highly valuable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using .NET and ASP.NET Core.
• Design and develop solutions utilizing microservices architecture.
• Support security initiatives focused on strengthening infrastructure and source code.
• Troubleshoot, enhance, and remediate application and infrastructure issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and deployment modernization.
• Support the transition from TeamCity and Octopus Deploy to GitHub Actions and Harness.
• Develop and support front-end applications using Angular, as needed.
• Support API development and migration of external-facing APIs into an API gateway.
• Work collaboratively with technical team leads and other engineers to deliver assigned work.
• Apply existing technical expertise to a variety of development and modernization initiatives based on the team's highest-priority needs.

Required Skills

• 5 years of professional experience
• Strong professional experience with .NET.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core / .NET Core.
• Experience developing applications using microservices architecture.
• Strong software development and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently take ownership of assigned work.
