About the Role

Glean Technologies, Inc. seeks Software Engineer in Mountain View, CA:


Job Duties: Develop a software-based platform that can scale indefinitely, including scalable enterprise search solutions. Build large scale fault tolerant distributed systems, preferably with knowledge of performance benchmarking tools and performance tuning on Linux based systems. Perform thorough code review for peers including interface design, code quality and testing strategies.  Understand customer requirements and implement them in our solution. Work closely with the company's product teams to understand customer requirements and ensure these features satisfy their requirements and are delivered effectively with high quality. Implement data ingestion pipelines to retrieve data from all enterprise data sources and build a secure search index over all of that data using C++/Java/Python/Go. Design and implement user interfaces used by enterprise workers to search enterprise content and design an API to build other search-based applications. 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, or closely related quantitative discipline

Location: Mountain View, CA. Telecommuting permitted. 

Compensation & Benefits

The standard base salary range for this position is $187,075 - $234,000 annually. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation, equity, and benefits.
