HTC – Python Backend / AI Engineer
Experience: 3–5 years
Key Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience inPython, FastAPI and Pydantic for developing scalable backend services and REST APIs.
- Experience withRedis, SQL databases, Azure cloud storage and third-party/internal API integrations.
- Strong SQL skills includingquery optimization, stored procedures and data transformation.
- Exposure toDatabricks, analytics platforms and AI/LLM service integrations.
- Experience withCelery and message brokers for asynchronous/background processing.
- Good understanding ofmicroservices, caching, scalability, reliability and production troubleshooting.
- Strong testing experience withPytest, including unit and integration testing.
- Experience withGit, CI/CD, code reviews, logging, monitoring and alerting.
- Ability to independently develop, debug and deliver moderately complex backend components.
- Exposure toAI agents, LLM APIs and AI-augmented backend/data workflows.
- Experience usingGitHub Copilot and/or Cursor AI for coding, testing, debugging, refactoring and documentation.
- Strong communication, ownership and problem-solving skills.
