Key Responsibilities

As aSoftware Engineer at Wallester, you will develop and maintain the backend platform that enables clients to launch and manage their card programmes. You will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from planning and analysis to deployment and maintenance, working with Go, microservices, APIs, and cloud infrastructure. This role suits an engineer who enjoys solving practical problems, collaborating with colleagues, and building reliable financial products.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and analysis to deployment and maintenance.
• Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code that follows company standards.
• Collaborate with engineers across the company to develop and deliver new features.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs supporting Wallester’s platform.
• Contribute to engineering best practices, process improvements, and a collaborative team culture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development using any OOP language (C# / Java / PHP / JavaScript / etc.)
• Experience with microservice architecture, REST API, RPC, PostgreSQL, and Docker
• You have good English and communication skills
• Experience working with agile software development teams
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and proactively
