We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a team responsible for managing and enhancing an enterprise-scale, event-driven messaging platform that enables real-time communication across numerous applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting the full software development lifecycle of cloud-native applications, including CI/CD pipelines, application development, database technologies, production operations, and end-user support.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the modernization of a mature, business-critical platform, with a focus on simplifying architecture, improving performance, and ensuring scalability as data processing demands and cloud infrastructure continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance scalable, cloud-native applications and services.

• Support the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, operations, and production support.

• Develop and maintain applications using Java, Python, and TypeScript.

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.

• Work with relational and NoSQL technologies, including PostgreSQL and OpenSearch.

• Contribute to platform modernization initiatives focused on architectural simplification, scalability, and operational efficiency.

• Support high-volume, event-driven messaging systems operating across complex AWS environments.

• Develop new platform features and services to support evolving business and technical requirements.

• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize system performance, and ensure platform reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to implement technical improvements and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience with full-stack or backend development.

• Proficiency in Java, Python, and/or TypeScript.

• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.

• Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL technologies such as OpenSearch.

• Experience developing or supporting distributed systems, event-driven architectures, or messaging platforms.

• Understanding of software architecture, scalability, performance optimization, and production support.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience modernizing enterprise-scale applications or platforms.

• Familiarity with high-volume data processing and distributed messaging systems.

• Experience supporting applications across multiple AWS accounts.

• Knowledge of infrastructure automation, monitoring, and operational best practices.

• Experience simplifying complex architectures and improving platform scalability.
