Job description:
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using Playwright and/or Selenium. The candidate will be responsible for building and executing automated UI, API, and end-to-end regression test suites, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and supporting continuous testing practices. The role requires collaboration with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, DevOps Engineers, and SRE teams in an Agile environment. Additional responsibilities include developing reusable automation components, test data strategies, maintaining test assets, and contributing to test planning, defect management, release validation, and quality metrics reporting. The candidate is expected to support shift-left testing practices and quality engineering initiatives across the product lifecycle and participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and release readiness activities.

Basic Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Playwright and/or Selenium
- Proficiency in Java or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with REST API Testing
- Knowledge of TestNG/JUnit
- Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins
- CI/CD implementation and execution
- Experience in Agile environments
- Understanding of shift-left testing practices
- Experience with quality engineering initiatives
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and/or Selenium.
- Build and execute automated UI, API, and end-to-end regression test suites.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
- Investigate automation failures, troubleshoot flaky tests, and drive root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, DevOps Engineers, and SRE teams in an Agile environment.
- Develop reusable automation components, test data strategies, and maintain test assets.
- Contribute to test planning, defect management, release validation, and quality metrics reporting.
- Support shift-left testing practices and quality engineering initiatives across the product lifecycle.
