Software Developer - .Net

Location:Remote in TX

Pay Range: $65-$70/Hr.

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software developer with a strong focus on .NET technologies and Azure cloud implementation. This role requires a developer with real-world Azure implementation experience, particularly with AKS, Azure DevOps, cloud-native microservices, observability, security, and production support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10 years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and .NET 8/10.
• Deep hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting cloud-native applications on Azure.
• Strong experience with Azure services including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor / Application Insights, Azure API Management, and Azure SQL Database.
• Proven experience building scalable, distributed microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native and event-driven architectures.
• Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting applications in AKS/Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity, security, and private connectivity concepts.
• Experience working in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Experience automating build, deployment, testing, and release processes.
• Strong API design, backend architecture, and service integration skills.
• Solid experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of resiliency patterns including retries, circuit breakers, failover, and fault tolerance.
• Experience supporting high-volume, transaction-intensive distributed systems.
• Strong production support and troubleshooting skills across multiple environments.
• Experience implementing security best practices including OAuth, JWT, Managed Identities, Key Vault, and secrets management.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on Kafka experience including producer/consumer design, retries, dead-letter queues, and event troubleshooting.
• Experience with distributed tracing and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry.
• Experience designing schemas for event-driven systems, including idempotency, ordering, and schema evolution.
• Experience with performance engineering, scalability testing, and bottleneck analysis.
• Experience leading technical design sessions and mentoring engineers.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating workloads to Azure.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development of web application systems for Online Banking and Money Movement.
• Maintain development activities that support internet banking development, ensuring high-quality work.
• Interact with business users and Business Analysts to understand the requirements and create design documents.
• Work with project Managers and development leads to complete assigned tasks with expected quality and on time.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams and vendor resources.
