Job Title: Software Developer
Location:Remote
Duration: 1 Year with Possible Extension

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications that meet business and user requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in one or more languages, experience with databases and modern software development practices, and the ability to build scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL databases and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git and project management tools such as JIRA.
  • Understanding of software testing, debugging, code reviews, and application maintenance.
  • Knowledge of scalable application design, reusable components, and software architecture principles.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration, build automation, and deployment tools.
  • Understanding of web servers, such as Apache, and basic UI/UX principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of relevant professional software development experience.
  • Equivalent practical experience may be considered if permitted by the hiring organization's requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing enterprise-level or web-based applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern application deployment practices.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and application performance optimization.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for code improvement, process optimization, and technology integration.
