The Software Developer to join our engineering team and help design, build, and maintain modern web applications and services. You will work across the full technology stack, primarily usingNode.js, React, and Next.js, collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to turn requirements into reliable, scalable software. This hands-on development role entails solving problems, writing high-quality code, and taking ownership of features from development through production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications usingReact and Next.js.

  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs usingNode.js.

  • Develop reusable, maintainable components and services following modern development practices.

  • Design and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.

  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data.

  • UseAI-assisted development tools effectively for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, refactoring, and solution design.

  • Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure quality, security, maintainability, and correctness.

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver new features.

  • Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and development planning.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and improve application reliability and performance.

  • Write automated tests and contribute to CI/CD processes.

  • Follow secure software development practices and help maintain high standards for code quality.

  • Contribute to technical documentation and share knowledge across the engineering team.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.

  • Strong experience withJavaScript and/or TypeScript.

  • Professional experience developing backend applications and APIs usingNode.js.

  • Experience building modern web applications usingReact.

  • Experience withNext.js or similar React-based frameworks.

  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and modern web application architecture.

  • Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases.

  • Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.

  • Understanding of automated testing and CI/CD practices.

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • StrongTypeScript experience.

  • Experience usingAI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar platforms.

  • Experience applying AI tools responsibly within a professional software development workflow.

  • Experience withAWS, Azure, or another major cloud platform.

  • Experience with Docker and containerized applications.

  • Experience with GraphQL.

  • Experience building event-driven or asynchronous applications.

  • Familiarity with building AI-enabled applications or integrating LLM services.

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.

  • Familiarity with application monitoring, observability, and performance optimization.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Work is performed primarily in an indoor office or home-office environment using standard office equipment

  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for keyboarding, data entry, and operating office equipment/computer and participating in virtual or in-person meetings

  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching to access files, or office equipment

  • Occasional lifting and carrying of files, documents, or office materials up to 15 pounds

  • Occasional travel, as needed

The expected base pay range for this position is $120,000-140,000 per year. The actual compensation for the position may vary based on market differences and on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and can vary based on location and/or work schedule.
