"Education & Certification Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) Formal training or working knowledge of SAM / ITAM principles Experience 4ā6+ years experience in: Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, or IT Operations Proven experience managing software license compliance Experience handling vendor audits (e.g. Microsoft, Oracle, SAP) Experience working in enterprise or complex environments Core Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of: Software licensing models (userābased, coreābased, subscription, SaaS) Entitlement vs deployment vs consumption Strong analytical and problemāsolving skills High attention to detail and data accuracy Risk management and compliance mindset Strong stakeholder communication and negotiation skills Ability to influence across IT, Procurement, and Finance Wellāorganised with strong documentation skills Tools & Systems Experience with SAM / ITAM tools such as: - ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, Snow, Ivanti, or similar Strong Excel / reporting skills Experience integrating discovery and inventory data" |
