Social Media Marketing Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, proactive, and camera-confidentSocial Media Marketing Intern to join our marketing team.

In this role, you will be involved in the full content creation process — from brainstorming ideas and writing scripts to filming, editing, publishing, and analysing performance across social media platforms.

You will have the opportunity to work on real-world marketing projects, contribute creative ideas, appear in short-form videos, and help grow our brand presence across platforms such as Xiaohongshu (RED), TikTok, Instagram, and Douyin.

We welcome candidates from diverse academic and professional backgrounds.A Marketing degree is not essential. If you have strong content creation skills, relevant practical experience, or knowledge of AI-generated content (AIGC), financial markets, or trading, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with copywriting and content creation for social media posts.
• Be comfortable appearing on camera and participating in short-form videos, including lifestyle content, office vlogs, and creative promotional videos.
• Support the planning, scripting, filming, editing, and production of short-form videos (typically 15–60 seconds).
• Publish and manage content across social media platforms while helping optimise content publishing workflows.
• Monitor and analyse content performance, including views, likes, shares, comments, and other engagement metrics, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Conduct competitor research and assist with content strategy and positioning.
• Support brand marketing initiatives, personal branding (IP) projects, and online promotional campaigns.

What We're Looking For

• A proactive attitude with strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and participating in short-form video content.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms such as TikTok, Xiaohongshu (RED), Douyin, and other short-video platforms, with an understanding of content trends and platform algorithms.
• Proficiency in at least one video editing tool, such as CapCut, Jianying (剪映), Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging captions, copy, and video titles.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications — Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

• Background in Marketing, Media, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
• Previous hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, video production, or digital marketing, regardless of academic background.
• Familiarity withAIGC tools, such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Coze, or other AI-powered creative tools.
• Understanding offinancial markets, trading, forex, CFDs, or the fintech industry.
• Experience creating personal branding content, UGC, or influencer marketing campaigns.
• Confidence in on-camera presentation, interviewing, or hosting short-form video content.
