About Glo Pals 

Glo Pals started in a Mississippi State classroom in 2015, when Mississippi State students Anna Barker and Hagan Walker patented a liquid-activated circuit, bringing Glo Cubes, a safer, smarter, glowing drink cube to life. When a mom spotted a Glo Cube at a restaurant and decided to drop one in the tub to turn her son’s bathtime from something scary into something fun, the mission grew. 

Today, Glo Pals is part of a global family of brands with more than 10 million products sold across 60 countries. Glo products range from the original Light-Up Cubes that safely bring color and glow to bath time and sensory play to our patented Light-Up Library books that turn storytime into an interactive, glowing adventure. 

The company is only growing, and we’re looking for an intern to join our team and assist with communications. You’ll be working on everything from social media captions to short-form video editing, and you’ll leave with projects to add to your portfolio.

What you’ll do: 

• Work directly with Communications Manager on projects ranging from community management to brainstorming and filming TikTok ideas
• Assist with community management and identifying influencers
• Brainstorm and film videos for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc. 
• Assist in writing short and long-form copy for social media captions and blog posts

What makes you a great fit: 

• Experience or interest in social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and/or LinkedIn 
• Strong writing + communication skills 
• Photography + videography skills: you know how to use your phone and snap a quick pic that tells a story
• Bonus: you know how to edit a short-form video, whether your favorite platform is CapCut or in-app TikTok or Instagram
• Relevant college major: Journalism, PR, communications, advertising, marketing, etc. 
• Curious + resourceful: you like scrolling through social media, but youreallylike finding ways to bring those ideas to life
