Project-based opportunity. Not a permanent position at Aru Labs.
We’re looking for aBTS / Social Content Producer to document the making of an independent web series and turn the production process into engaging digital content.
The goal is not to create a traditional corporate behind-the-scenes video.
We want to capture thepeople, process, chaos, creative decisions and real moments behind the production.
The Project
An independent web series exploring:
Startups
Ambition
Relationships
Friendship
Money
Identity
Success and failure
Life outside work
The series will be shot across a mix of Indian and international creative/startup locations.
What You’ll Do
Capture the production journey through:
Behind-the-scenes photography
Vertical video
Short-form videos
Interviews with cast and crew
Director / DOP moments
Location stories
Rehearsals
Set preparation
Production-day moments
Travel content
Character introductions
Production diaries
Short social clips
Launch content
Episode-related promotional content
You may also help develop recurring content formats around the making of the series.

The content should feel native to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
Responsibilities
Capture BTS photos and video
Plan daily content capture
Identify interesting moments on set
Conduct quick interviews
Shoot vertical content
Organize footage
Deliver daily selects when required
Create or coordinate short-form edits
Maintain a BTS content archive
Work with the Director and production team
Coordinate with the broader marketing/content team
Help develop the launch content calendar
You will need to understand when tostay out of the way of production.
The main production always comes first.

Requirements
You should have:
Strong visual storytelling instincts
Experience shooting social content
Good understanding of Instagram / TikTok / YouTube Shorts
Ability to shoot high-quality mobile or camera footage
Strong sense of composition
Good interviewing skills
Fast turnaround ability
Comfortable working around a film set
Ability to work independently
Experience with editing is a strong plus.
A background in filmmaking, photography, journalism, creator content or social media is welcome.
Equipment
Professional camera equipment isnot mandatory.
