Resident Liaison Officer - FTC

We're looking for an experiencedResidentLiaison Officer (RLO) for this 12 month Fixed Term Contract tosupport a complex programme of building safetyremediation works, including EWS1 compliance. You'll act as the key point of contact between residents, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring clearcommunication,resident welfare, and a positive customerexperience throughout the works.

This is a largelyautonomous role requiring strong judgement, excellentcommunication skills, and theability to managesensitivesituationsconfidently. 

Keyresponsibilities

• Act as the mainliaison between residents, contractors, andstakeholders
• Deliverresidentengagement plans, meetings, drop-ins, and home visits
• Produce clearresidentcommunications (letters, newsletters, updates, bulletins)
• Support building safety compliance and escalate safety concerns
• Mediate disputes andsupport Stage 1 complaint responses
• Supportresident decants, including needs assessments andcompensation
• Coordinate contractor access and monitor performance
• Work flexibly, includingoccasional evenings, weekends, and out-of-hours responses

About you

Essential:

• Provenexperience inresident orstakeholderengagement
• Strongcommunication andconflict-resolution skills
• Ability to workindependently with minimalsupervision
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Enhanced DBS check required

Desirable:

• Housing or social housingexperience
• Decant orresidentrelocationexperience
• Contractor orservice-contractmanagementexperience
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
