Project Engineer

1. Project Execution & Management: Lead the planning, scheduling, budgeting, implementation of engineering projects including drawings to cover all services relating to plant as related with the projects. Track project milestones and deliverables using standard project management tools.
2. Technical Design & Review: Prepare, review, and approve engineering designs, technical specifications, BOQ, Specification, process flows, estimate cost for an investment following Company standard forms. Ensure all technical solutions are optimized for production efficiency and reliability.
3. Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the primary bridge between plant operations, maintenance, procurement, and external contractors or vendors to ensure smooth project integration without disrupting daily production.
4. Vendor & Contractor Management: Draft Requests for Proposals (RFPs), evaluate vendor bids, negotiate technical terms, and supervise on-site contractors during installation and commissioning phases.
5. Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project expenditures, manage variances, and ensure cost-effective procurement of equipment and services.
6. Commissioning & Handover: Lead the testing, commissioning, and validation of new systems. Hand over fully operational assets to the production and maintenance teams, including complete documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training.
7. Compliance & Safety (QEHS): Ensure all project designs and installations strictly adhere to plant safety protocols, corporate guidelines, and legal standards (including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, PSM and IATF standard) including IEAT and Local Regulations.
8. Other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experiences and Background:

• 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Project Engineer or Plant Engineer within a manufacturing, production, or heavy industrial environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing capital expenditure (Capex) projects from cradle to grave.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to manage diverse stakeholders, from shop-floor operators to external contractors and senior management.
• Strong proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and project management tools (e.g., MS Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Solid understanding of industrial equipment, piping, automation systems, and plant utilities.
• Familiarity with workplace safety, environmental regulations, and energy efficiency standards.
• Know-how on government regulations and comply with regulatory requirements
• Good communicate both Thai and English languages
