Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing therace course forevery race event including gate setting, safety netting and other equipmentrequired.Thisis includes all weekly race series and other Bretton Woods sanctioned races throughout the ski season. 
• Perform administrative duties of race events including registration, start lists, and preparing race results. 
• Maintainrace course wiring and timing equipment. 
• Responsible for timing during race events. 
• Work closely with Chief of Course during official race events. 
• Perform daily set up and maintenance of race facilities 
• Event venue construction, maintenance, and event support 
• Maintain positive attitude at all times including stressful situations with athletes and/or parents 
• AssistBretton WoodsSki Team with race coaching as needed. 
• Travel to other ski areas ifadditional supervision is needed formembers of the Bretton Woods Race Team. 

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a race coach preferred.  
• Ability to safelyoperate a snowmobile. 
• Strong organizational skills with abilityto multi-task within afast-paced environment. 
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.  
• Must be able to ski/ride while carrying equipment 
• Must be able toski varied terrain 
• Must be able to work extended hours outdoors in an alpine environment 
• Basic hand tool and computer knowledge 
• Subject tolong periods of walking and standing. 
• Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays. 

 Tools and Equipment: 

• Hand tools including drills 
• All winter sports equipment.
