Site Reliability Engineer III

Introduction

The team is responsible for the reliability and operational health of the platform. The role involves actively monitoring and supporting core infrastructure, executing automation initiatives, building and enhancing internal tools, resolving infrastructure issues, and leading incident response to maintain platform performance at scale. The engineer will work hands-on across the stack to improve platform and application observability, drive reliability improvements, and deliver measurable gains in operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong Python development experience
• Hands-on Django and REST API development
• Strong MySQL/database skills
• Deep Linux administration and troubleshooting experience
• Infrastructure engineering and automation background
• Experience with Ansible and CI/CD pipelines
• Observability and monitoring experience (Dynatrace preferred)
• Experience working in large-scale production environments
• Azure and/or AWS cloud experience
• SRE, Reliability Engineering, and DevOps practices
• OpenTelemetry and modern observability tools
• Infrastructure-as-Code and automation frameworks
• Prior work experience in Financial Services / Trading Platform
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with platform modernization and migration to Cloud (Cloud 1.0, 2.0)
• Experience hardening production systems
• Experience evolving support tooling
