Position Summary

The Site Operations Manager at Midwest Dental Arts will lead and scale the Sarasota facility’s day-to-day operations, overseeing production, engineering, supply chain, and quality to support the company’s growth and commitment to excellence. This role requires a strong, hands-on leader with deep experience in people leadership and driving operational efficiency.  Here you will build and manage high-performing teams and ensure compliance in a fast-paced, innovative dental lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Sarasota, FL site, ensuring all production, administrative, communication, and quality objectives are met.
  • Collaborate closely with the company leaders to gain a deep understanding of the dental industry and integrate their vision into site operations.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing operations team within the lab environment, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and execute plans to scale operations effectively, supporting the company’s growth trajectory.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cost, quality and efficiency
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product design, manufacturing, and delivery processes.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of site operations.
  • Represent the company in interactions with local stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and vendors.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Operations/Business Management Education, or a related discipline.  Years of working experience will be considered in lieu of education
  • Dental Industry Leadership preferred.  (Office management, lab management, regional management)
  • Proven experience managing teams, preferably within dental industry, medical devices, dental products or regulated environment with a focus on quality and compliance
  • Ability to coach and troubleshoot escalated situations, including team moral building, employee development, and customer satisfaction
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
