Forklift Driver - Orlando

Job Description

Position Overview:Operates and maintains forklift in a safe and efficient manner using work instructions, visual management, and computer interface.

Essential Responsibilities andDuties:

• Supplies production operations with raw materials to produce finishedproducts.
• Prints and scans Bill of Lading for all finished goods using acomputer interface and RFscanner.
• Inspects finished goods for qualitydefects.
• Transfers finished goods to staging or storageareas.
• Loads finished goods onto trucks in a timely manner to meet customers’ deliveryrequirements.
• Accurately completes all written logs and data input including closing sequences on tickets and printing Bill of Lading.
• Ensures accurate inventory counts and notifies supervisor ofdiscrepancies.
• Effectively communicates with all internaldepartments.
• Removes/Reworks any damaged product onpallets.
• Maintains a clean work area and performs general housekeepingduties.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma orequivalent
• Must have experience using propane, or electric forklifts(single/double)
• Basic computer skills (MicrosoftOffice)
• Effectivecommunicationskills
• Willingness to work flexible shift’s depending on project/productionrequirements.
• Must be able to climb, bend, reach, and move heavy items (up to 50lbs.)
