This opportunity supports a team of Data Scientists, Cryptologic Computer Scientists, Cryptanalytic Computer Scientists, Cryptologic Cyber Planners, Intrusion Analysts, Protocol Analysts, Signals Analysts and Reverse Engineers, responsible for improving, protecting, and defending our Nation’s Security.

Job Description:

• We are looking for a Signals Analyst who will focus primarily on TechELINT, analyzing signals of interest (SOI) to support advanced research, development, testing, and evaluation (RDT&E) efforts. The position requires a seasoned technical expert capable of applying a multidisciplinary signals approach to identify, characterize, and associate key indicators across diverse signal environments. Responsibilities include conducting detailed technical characterization of unknown signals and their underlying networks, managing the full lifecycle of tasking, collection, processing, and exploitation. The analyst must be proficient in understanding complex signal characteristics to determine structure, define parameters, and model signal behavior. A strong Multi‑INT foundation—spanning COMINT, ELINT, and FISINT—is essential, with additional value placed on familiarity with electronic warfare (EW) and radio‑frequency (RF) systems. Experience in Digital Signal Processing (DSP), modulation recognition, and knowledge of 452/451 classifications is highly desirable, complementing the specialized technical expertise required for this mission set.
   

The Level 4 Signals Analyst shall possess the following capabilities:

• Relevant experience must be in signals analysis (COMINT, ELINT, FISINT, and/or PROFORMA) and/or design and engineering or aerospace, communications, electronic or industrial systems.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral Degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s Degree with 9 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 11 years of relevant experience.
• Associates degree with 13 years of relevant experience.
• HS diploma or GED with 15 years of experience will be considered for those who have completed relevant military degree programs (or equivalent) or who have completed relevant military training (9141 (Navy Tech ELINT Analyst 1N2A (Air Force Tech ELINT Analyst 451/461 (Intermediate Signals Analysis) or 452 (Advanced Signals Analysis); or who have participated in or graduated from a relevant training program such as the Military COMINT Signals Analysis Program (MCSAP) Military ELINT Signals Analysis Program (MESAP) or Military OpELINT Signals Analysis Program (MOSAP).
• Degree must be in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, a Physical Science, or a related technical field. A broader range of degrees will be considered for those who have completed a relevant training program.
