Position OverviewÂ
As part of SiGMA Group’s continued global expansion, we are launching a dedicatedÂ
FX-focused subdivision under the AIBC brand. The Managing Director will have fullÂ
ownership and accountability for the strategy, growth, performance, and long-termÂ
success of the FX subdivision.Â
This is a senior leadership role responsible for building and scaling the FX verticalÂ
across conferences, exhibitions, sponsorships, partnerships, and content, whileÂ
ensuring strong alignment with SiGMA Group’s overall strategy, standards, andÂ
commercial objectives. The Managing Director will act in the best interests of the FXÂ
subdivision and SiGMA Group, serving as a key strategic leader, driving commercialÂ
performance, building high-performing teams, and representing the FX divisionÂ
internally and externally.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Strategic & Commercial LeadershipÂ
• Define and execute the overall strategy, vision, and growth roadmap for the FX Â
subdivision in line with SiGMA Group objectives.Â
• Own the P&L performance of the FX vertical, driving sustainable revenue growth Â
through events, sponsorships, partnerships, and commercial initiatives.Â
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within FX, payments, and  financial services markets.Â
• Make agile, commercially sound decisions to support rapid growth and market Â
positioning.Â
Business & Infrastructure DevelopmentÂ
• Establish, scale, and oversee the FX subdivision’s commercial, content, and Â
operational teams.Â
• Oversee the development and positioning of FX-related event brands, conferences, Â
and platforms within AIBC and SiGMA’s global portfolio.Â
• Build and refine internal processes, structures, and workflows to support scalable Â
growth.Â
• Collaborate with group marketing, sales, events, and operations teams to ensure Â
consistent delivery and brand alignment.Â
Leadership & Internal CollaborationÂ
• Lead, mentor, and manage senior team members, fostering a high-performance and Â
accountable culture.Â
• Work closely with Group leadership, Founders, and C-level executives to ensure Â
alignment with overall business strategy.Â
• Act as a central point of coordination between the FX subdivision and other SiGMA Â
Group verticals.Â
Performance Management & ReportingÂ
• Define, implement, and monitor clear KPIs across all FX teams and initiatives.Â
• Provide regular reporting to Founders and Group C-level management on Â
performance, progress, risks, and opportunities.Â
• Continuously assess performance and optimize strategy, resources, and execution.Â
Representation & TravelÂ
• Represent the FX subdivision and SiGMA Group at international events, Â
conferences, and industry meetings.Â
• Undertake business travel as required to support partnerships, commercial growth, Â
and event delivery.Â
Governance & Ad Hoc ResponsibilitiesÂ
• Ensure activities are conducted in line with Group policies, standards, and ethical Â
principles.Â
• Undertake any additional ad hoc or ancillary tasks related to the FX subdivision and Â
SiGMA Group as required.Â
Key Skills & RequirementsÂ
• Proven senior leadership experience (Managing Director, General Manager, or Â
equivalent) within events, media, FX, iGaming, or related industries.Â
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in scaling business units Â
and driving revenue growth.Â
• Experience building and leading multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced, Â
international environments.Â
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.Â
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including board levelÂ
interaction.Â
• Ability to make decisive, data-driven decisions in a growth-oriented environment.Â
• Willingness to travel internationally.Â
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong advantage.Â
