Position Summary

The Junior Intelligent Automation Developer supports the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of intelligent automation solutions that drive operational efficiency and business transformation across the enterprise. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams to automate business processes using Robotic Process Automation (RPA), workflow automation, Generative AI, AI Agents, and enterprise digital technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support Regal Rexnord's digital transformation journey by developing intelligent automation and AI solutions that streamline business processes, enhance productivity, reduce manual effort, and enable smarter decision-making across the enterprise.

Intelligent Automation Development

• Develop, deploy, and maintain automation solutions using RPA and workflow automation platforms.
• Assist in building digital workers, bots, and automated workflows that eliminate repetitive manual activities.
• Support process automation initiatives across business functions including Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Shared Services.
• Perform testing, debugging, monitoring, and optimization of automation solutions.

Generative AI & AI Solutions

• Support the development of AI-powered business solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and other enterprise AI technologies.
• Build and maintain AI assistants, chatbots, knowledge management solutions, and AI agents.
• Create, test, and optimize prompts to improve AI-generated outputs and business outcomes.
• Assist in evaluating new AI technologies and recommending innovative use cases.

Business Process Transformation

• Participate in process discovery workshops and identify opportunities for automation and AI enablement.
• Analyze existing business processes and document improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and define solution designs.
• Support change management, user adoption, and training activities for implemented solutions.

Software Development & Integration

• Develop scripts, APIs, connectors, and application enhancements to support automation initiatives.
• Assist with integration between enterprise systems and automation platforms.
• Support deployment activities and ensure solutions comply with development standards and best practices.

Operations & Support

• Monitor automation and AI solution performance and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
• Troubleshoot incidents, production issues, and automation failures.
• Maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and solution repositories.
• Ensure compliance with IT security, governance, and data privacy requirements.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in: Information Technology Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Systems Data Science Software Engineering Or related discipline. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Up to two (2) years of internship, project-based, freelance, contractor, or professional experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of programming concepts and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Demonstrated interest in automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to UiPath, Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar automation tools.
• Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, or Generative AI technologies.
• Experience with academic projects involving AI, automation, analytics, or software development.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Microsoft certifications or automation-related certifications are a plus.
