Core ResponsibilitiesÂ
The Global Creative Director is a specialist role, with no direct reports, at OLA (Our LEGO Agency) and it will form part of the LEGO Agency Global Creative LT, reporting into the VP, Head of Global Creative, Carlo Cavallone. Â
Key responsibilities include:Â
Drive creative excellence and business impact by leading and making work on global creative platforms and innovation campaigns for the LEGO® brand.Â
Elevate, with your strategic thinking and ideas, the creative output of the LEGO® brand, always be on the lookout for modern and innovative creative solutions.Â
Demonstrate a deep understanding of modern advertising, particularly social marketing practices – witha track record of campaigns across different channels.Â
Have experience in culture marketing, ideally with specificexpertise in sports, music, gaming,comics or youth passions.Â
Work with our Global VP, Head of Creative and our China team, producing and deploying 360-degree communication across the globe.Â
Contribute with your thought leadership to the innovation of the LEGO® brand – help evolve and reimagine key touchpoints across different channels.Â
Engage with senior stakeholders across the LEGO® Group to implement and evolve work.Â

Our LEGOAgency (OLA) is an organisation that focuses on delivering best-in-class campaigns, insight-driven and fit-for-purpose solutions across the LEGO Group. The global development is driven out of the LEGO Group’s headquarters in Billund, Denmark.Â
Location-wise, OLA has 5 main hubs across the following regions: AMS, EMEA, China and APAC.Â
The Global Creative Director position will be based in LEGO Agency's Shanghai hubÂ
Do You Have What It Takes?Â
Relevant experience with an integrated portfolio and relevant case studies for global brands.Â
A track record of great, influential creative work andbig ideas.Â
Familiarity with social media practices.Â
A background in advertising, with experience at advertising agencies or other creative companies.Â
Able to lead and craft conceptual advertising executions from brief to production.Â
Able to present to senior stakeholders.Â
Great communication and presentation skills.Â
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects at a time.Â
Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple colleaguesand also to lead teams.Â
Self-motivated, driven, strategic-minded and a great teammate.Â
Ability to prioritise, curiosity about learning and a growthattitude! Â
