Summary/Objective:

A Small Format Fabrication employee is responsible for wrapping parts, counting parts, operating manual equipment, running the pouch laminator, and other tasks as assigned in the small format department.  You will also be training in other fabrication steps for the Small format fabrication 2 position.. 

Essential Functions:

• Counting and shrink wrapping parts
• Die cutting 
• Assembly
• Read and understand manufacturing orders and the dispatch list.
• Know machine settings to maintain a quality product
• Fill out and understand the Scrap and internal usage form
• Must wear the required safety equipment
• Stand for long periods of time
• Meet or exceed production goals
• Fulfillment
• Box and prepare jobs for shipping.

Work Environment

This job operates in a production environment. This role is sitting, standing, moving, bending, walking, reaching, lifting, squatting, pushing, pulling and turning

Knowledge and expertise in:

• Knowledge of small format fabrication steps

Required Skills

• Good written and verbal communication
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and recommunicate
• Ability to accurately operate a calculator.
• Must be able to use a computer
• Good time management
• Ability to follow, understand and execute direction as given to you by your Manager.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and part of a team.
• Must be capable of regularly lifting up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. assisted.
