Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer with deep platform development experience and hands-on expertise in Generative AI and Now Assist implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying innovative ServiceNow solutions that leverage the latest AI-driven capabilities to enhance automation, user experience, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and configure solutions on the ServiceNow platform using best practices and platform capabilities.
- Implement and integrate Now Assist and Generative AI features within workflows and custom modules.
- Develop custom applications, portals, and integrations to extend the platform's functionality.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and other developers to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Configure and customize modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or ITAM as needed.
- Develop and maintain API integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow applications.
- Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow releases, including Vancouver, Washington DC, and GenAI / Now Assist enhancements.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high development standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer or ServiceNow Platform Engineer.
- Proven experience with ServiceNow Platform Development — scripting (JavaScript, Glide), UI Policies, Business Rules, Flow Designer, and UI Actions.
- Hands-on experience with Now Assist, Generative AI, or ServiceNow AI Search implementations.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow API, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations, and MID Server.
- Experience with custom app development and ServiceNow Store apps.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications.
- Experience in one or more modules: ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or FSM.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Vancouver / Washington DC release features and Gen AI enablement.
- Background in automation, machine learning, or AI model integration within enterprise platforms.
