Service Engineer I

Major Responsibilities  

Design,validate, and launch service products from concept through production release, ensuring alignment with product lifecycle and serviceabilityobjectives. 

Design, develop, execute, and evaluate service Bills of Material using advanced reliability and serviceability methodologies such as FMECA, RCM, MTA, FTA, and LORA tooptimize service solutions and lifecycle support. 

Creating andmaintaining CAD models, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) 

Interfacing with cross‑functional internal stakeholders 

Providing technical support for assigned projects 

Define and document precise service functional requirements; support design, test, and validation activities to evaluate overall design effectiveness, cost (including cost/benefit analysis), reliability (risk analysis), maintainability, and safety. 

Collaborate with manufacturing,purchasing, product design, product specialists, field technicians, and training teams to improve service efficiency, reduce lifecycle costs, and enhance overall customer value. 

Utilize CAD (Computer‑Aided Design) and CAE (Computer‑Aided Engineering) tools to develop service designs and produce detailed engineering documentation. 

Minimum Job Requirements 

Education 

 Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline 

Certification / License

Work Experience 

 1 yearsof relevant work experience 

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities 

Ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy; 

Demonstrated written communication and presentation skills; 

Ability to translate technical information to all audiences; 

Able to solve moderate to complex engineering problems;  

Good decision-making skills; 

Technical Skills to include 3D modeling (Creo or SolidWorks); 

MS Excel, MS Word; etc.;
