Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.

This role is contributing to theElectrification Service inSingapore.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points.

• Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.

• Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.

• Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.

Qualifications for the role

• Diploma or Degree inElectrical Engineering or related field, with solid understanding of power systems and electrical fundamentals.

• Ability toread and interpret SLDs, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and related technical drawings.

• Stronganalytical and troubleshooting skills, with basic hands‑on exposure to electrical testing tools (e.g., multimeter, insulation tester).

• Comfortable workingonsite in industrial environments, following safety standards, procedures, and work instructions.

• Good communication skills with aproactive, customer-focused attitude and willingness to learn through hands‑on field work.

• Due to the nature of the role, we are only open to candidates with full work rights in Singapore.
