Team / Environment:The Managed Systems team currently consists of 12 personnel, and this new position will make the team 13. The team conducts annual infrastructure efforts around the refresh ofEnd of Life / End of Support hardware. There are also major efforts aroundCyber Resiliency andnew datacenter migration.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:The resource will provide daily operational, on-call, and weekend support forVMware and SAN technologies across all Lines of Business (LOBs).
- Administers and deploys infrastructure including hardware, software, and various configurations.
- Provides administration and maintenance of user devices and communications links to assure operational availability.
- Administers and tests server hardware and software.
- Performs remedial maintenance of server devices, including the restoration of hardware and software.
- Administers use, capacity, and performance of server systems.
- Focuses on multiple aspects of server operations across multiple platforms.
- Works with end users and vendors to resolve server issues.
- Supports infrastructure refresh initiatives involving End of Life / End of Support hardware.
- Supports Cyber Resiliency initiatives and new datacenter migration efforts.
- Provides operational support for VMware and SAN environments, including on-call and weekend support.

Ideal Candidate Profile:The manager isnot looking for a strategic analyst or an administrative resource. This position requires astrong hands-on technician with solid infrastructure/server experience and demonstrated expertise inVMware and SAN storage technologies.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;OR
- 4 years of job-related work experience;OR
- 2 years of job-related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree

Required Work Experience: 6 years of server or other job-related experience.
Preferred Work Experience: 7 years of experience working in infrastructure/server environments performing analysis (hardware and/or software), planning, and implementation.
