Key Responsibilities

• Vendor QualificationOversight:
  • Coordinates with Legal trade-compliance screening of vendors
  • Conduct audits and inspections of tolling facilities to ensure compliance with our quality and safety standards.
• Quality Assurance and Control:
  • Review and approve material vendors quality systems and certification.
  • Ensure that vendor has in place QA and QC systems compliant to western industrial standards.
  • Performs renewal screenings.
• Supplier Management & Communication:
  • Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring open and effective communication regarding quality expectations and performance.
  • Work closely with vendors to resolve any quality issues preventing to meet the VP requirements
  • Provide guidance to vendors as needed, ensuring they understand and can implement quality standards effectively.
• Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure all vendor activities comply with relevant regulatory standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and any applicable industry-specific certifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of audits, inspections, product releases, and non-conformance reports.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work with internal Legal, Business Units and VP teams to ensure that vendors’ qualification is aligned with Lummus business requirements
• Management of manufacturing quality
  • Coordinate Inspection activities with 3rd party inspection agencies according to VP requirements.

 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.  Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality management, preferably manufacturing operations.
• Knowledgeable in QA and international certification systems, e.g. ISO, API etc.
• Knowledgeable in QC and Source Inspection
• Able to perform QA and QC audit of vendor manufacturing shop
• Able to perform Source Inspection visits for different types of equipment e.g. Mechanical, Valves, Piping, Instrumentation etc.
• Able to travel to vendor manufacturing shops located globally
• Able to organize and manage Third Party Agencies for Source Inspections
