Summary:
Company is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer 4 to develop user-centered digital solutions from concept to market. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UX design methodologies, user research, interaction design, and 3D design, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. The designer will advocate for customer needs while balancing business objectives and technical constraints, ensuring high-quality design deliverables that meet established standards.
Responsibilities
- UX/UI Design & Prototyping (70%): Apply design methodologies and tools to develop wireframes, prototypes, personas, user research, customer journey maps, and other design artifacts to bring digital solutions from concept to market.
- Customer Advocacy (15%): Represent the voice of the customer and advocate for user needs while balancing business goals and technical requirements.
- Feature Definition & Delivery (15%): Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to define features, identify user research needs, support product delivery, and ensure design quality and consistency with established standards.
- Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate throughout the product development lifecycle to deliver effective, user-centered digital experiences.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- Degree with at least8 years of user experience (UX) experience, or
- No degree with at least10 years of relevant UX experience.
- Strong experience with UX design processes, including wireframing, prototyping, personas, user research, and journey mapping.
- Experience in3D design and interaction design.
- Strong design presentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.
- Experience delivering high-quality design solutions that align with established standards.
Skills
- Knowledge or experience inbattery or charge management, energy solutions, electric vehicles (EVs), or electric machines.
- Experience with3D design and interaction design.
- Experience inmapping and 3D imaging.
- Interest in emerging technologies and digital solutions for industrial or equipment-related applications.
Pay Transparency:The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $65.00 - $70.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
