Treasury Overview
The Treasury department plays a critical role in safeguarding the firm's liquidity and maintaining the strength of its balance sheet. We manage cash, funding, investments, and banking relationships to support operational, strategic, and regulatory requirements across multiple legal entities. Treasury is responsible for liquidity management, broker-dealer reserve funding, settlements with trading partners and clearing organizations, intercompany and interbank transfers, short-term investments, and treasury risk oversight. We partner closely with Finance, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and business leaders to optimize capital deployment, manage financial risks, and support the firm's growth objectives.

Sr. Treasury Analyst
The Sr. Treasury Analyst is responsible for leading liquidity management, cash forecasting, funding, investment, and treasury risk management activities across multiple regulated entities, including broker-dealers and trust companies. This role serves as a subject matter expert in liquidity management, reserve requirements, balance sheet optimization, and treasury operations, while driving process improvements, automation initiatives, and strategic treasury projects. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with the ability to influence stakeholders, provide actionable recommendations to leadership, and enhance the firm's liquidity position, risk management framework, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily cash positioning, forecasting, funding, liquidity management, and bank account oversight across multiple operating and regulated entities
  • Develop and execute cash concentration, funding, reserve management, and short-term investment strategies while ensuring compliance with SEC Rule 15c3-3 reserve requirements and other regulatory liquidity obligations
  • Perform liquidity stress testing, scenario analysis, and contingency funding planning to assess funding adequacy and support liquidity risk management
  • Monitor and optimize balance sheet utilization, liquidity resources, and capital deployment while identifying opportunities to improve financial efficiency and support strategic business objectives
  • Identify, measure, and manage treasury related risks, including liquidity, interest rate, FX, counterparty, concentration, and operational risks; recommend mitigation and hedging strategies where appropriate
  • Prepare and deliver executive level reporting and analysis on liquidity, cash flows, investments, reserve requirements, funding activities, risk exposures, and stress testing results, providing actionable recommendations to senior leadership
  • Lead treasury transformation initiatives and partner with Finance, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Accounting teams to enhance controls, automate processes, implement technology solutions, and support strategic treasury initiatives

Position Requirements

Qualifications Required
  • BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA, CFA, CPA, or CTP preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in Treasury, Cash Management, Banking, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, or Liquidity Risk Management
  • Strong knowledge of liquidity management, cash forecasting, balance sheet management, short-term investments, treasury risk management, and banking products
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills with experience analyzing large and complex data sets
  • Strong analytical, communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills with a continuous improvement mindset
What Could Set You Apart
  • Experience managing liquidity, investments, funding, and reserve requirements across multiple legal entities and regulated businesses
  • Knowledge of broker-dealer reserve requirements, customer protection rules, trust operations, and liquidity risk management frameworks
  • Experience with GTreasury, Kyriba, Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, OneStream, or similar treasury and ERP platforms

Associate's working hours must align to8 am to 5 pm Central standard time
 Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.

Salary Information
