About the job

Googleโ€™s Search Intelligence (SI) team is seeking a strategic Technical Program Manager (TPM) Portfolio Lead to advocate trust, safety, and neutrality for our core Search and AI experiences. In this highly collaborative role, you will act as a thought partner and strategic program lead, setting ambitious, measurable goals and driving the execution of critical initiatives. Leveraging advanced AI tools and agentic solutions, you will automate processes and accelerate engineering velocity, transforming how we protect billions of daily user queries.

As the Portfolio Lead, you will oversee the Search Intelligence Trust portfolio, collaborating with a global team of TPMs across Zurich, Cambridge, and Mountain View, and partnering with an engineering organization of approximately 150 members alongside multiple Product Managers. Your responsibilities will span four key pillars: aligning trust requirements for frontier AI innovations, building scaled compliance protections in partnership with DeepMind, scaling operations for rapid and neutral feature rollouts, and managing critical escalations with long-term preventative strategies.

Additionally, you will identify opportunities to implement system-wide changes in collaboration with Search Platforms, Verticals, Core, and Trust and Safety. By transforming our horizontal capabilities, you will enable Google to launch Generative AI features with ten times the velocity and volume, securely protecting users while scaling product delivery. If you are a critical thinker and natural connector who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about shaping the future of trusted information journeys, we invite you to help us deliver user experiences.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
