Job Title: Senior Technical Program Manager (Healthcare)
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time


Role Overview

We are seeking aSenior Technical Program Manager (TPM) with stronghealthcare technology experience to lead complex technology initiatives within a healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will be ahighly technical program leader who can drive large-scale programs across engineering, product, and healthcare business teams while maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires ahands-on TPM mindset, capable of understanding technical architecture, managing delivery across multiple engineering teams, and aligning healthcare business requirements with scalable technology solutions.

The TPM will also act as aclient-facing program leader, ensuring alignment between healthcare stakeholders, engineering teams, and business leadership while driving program execution and delivery excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leadlarge-scale technical programs involving multiple engineering, product, and data teams.
  • Driveend-to-end program delivery, including planning, execution, governance, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Collaborate closely withengineering teams, solution architects, and product managers to ensure successful implementation of technology initiatives.
  • Managetechnical program roadmaps, dependencies, architecture alignment, and delivery timelines.
  • Serve as theprimary client-facing program lead, maintaining strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders.
  • Act as apseudo account manager, ensuring strong engagement, communication, and satisfaction with healthcare clients.
  • Coordinate delivery acrosscross-functional teams including engineering, data, cloud, and integration teams.
  • Trackprogram KPIs, milestones, and delivery metrics, ensuring successful program execution.
  • Facilitateexecutive-level reporting and governance meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identifytechnical risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges, driving proactive resolution.
  • Supportprogram governance frameworks, Agile delivery practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or Program Management within technology environments.
  • Strong experience leadingcomplex technical programs involving engineering, platform, or cloud initiatives.
  • Experience working closely withengineering, architecture, product, and infrastructure teams.
  • Strong ability to understandtechnical architecture, system integrations, APIs, and cloud platforms.
  • Proven experience managingcross-functional technical delivery across multiple teams.
  • Strongclient-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing programs withinenterprise or regulated environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred (providers, payers, health systems, or health-tech platforms).
  • Experience withhealthcare technology ecosystems such as:
    • EHR / EMR systems (Epic, Cerner)
    • Healthcare data platforms
    • Interoperability frameworks (FHIR, HL7)
  • Experience managing programs involvingdata platforms, integrations, or cloud modernization initiatives.
  • Background inaccount management or client engagement roles.
  • Familiarity withAgile / Scrum / SAFe program delivery frameworks.
  • Certifications such asPMP, PgMP, SAFe Agilist, or CSM are a plus.
