About the job
As a part of the team, you will join as a Systems Administrator with infrastructure experience. You will be responsible for building and operating declarative, forward compatible infrastructure for a silicon design group using managed Google Cloud Platform (GCP) resources. As a successful applicant, you will be interested in building infrastructure using cloud services and will have previous GCP, linux system administration, and some experience with infrastructure flows for silicon/High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience leading projects and designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Experience in designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience in operating large-scale distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain infrastructure using managed GCP resources.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that they are building durable, scalable, and highly available services.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
- Manage linux systems such as Slurm, Continuous Integration, and cluster file systems.
- Deploy and maintain Electronic design automation (EDA) tooling and licensing systems.
