Title: Senior Staff Full Stack Engineer (Java, Cloud & DevOps)
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Duration:  6 Months 
Pay Range: C$41 ON T4 

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Engineer, where you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions. We are looking for a passionate individual with a strong background in software development and a commitment to driving innovation and excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Professional software development experience of 8-12 years, with at least 5 years in building backend services using Java (Spring Boot strongly preferred).
• Strong front-end experience with React (preferred) or Angular/Vue, including state management and component testing.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern build tooling.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and strong SQL skills.
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Solid testing practices and a strong understanding of distributed systems and integration patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and stakeholder collaboration.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with event streaming and asynchronous processing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and managed services.
• Experience with performance and scalability work, including load testing and JVM tuning.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust REST/GraphQL services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive front-end applications using React/Angular/Vue with TypeScript.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with automated tests and deployments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and containerization.
• Set up monitoring and alerting systems and drive incident response and root cause analysis.
• Mentor developers, lead design reviews, and work cross-functionally to ship outcomes.
