Senior Staff Engineer - AI

Required Skills & Experience

● 20+ years in technical product management, with at least 8 years focused on data and AI platforms

● Deep experience owning data platform products in regulated environments — payments, fintech, or banking preferred

● Hands-on background in data engineering or ML engineering; able to engage credibly with engineers on architecture decisions

● Experience with cloud-native data stacks: AWS, Redshift, SQL Server, Kafka/MSK or equivalent streaming platforms

● Strong understanding of PCI DSS, data governance frameworks, and compliance-led product design

● Proven track record managing distributed, cross-geography engineering teams

● Excellent executive communication — able to present to CTO/CIO stakeholders and influence without authority
