Senior Staff Accountant

Job Description

• Gather data for forensic accounting engagements; analyze information by developing spreadsheet reports.

• Prepare adjusting journal entries, trial balance, and bank reconciliations.

• Process accounts payable and set up Chart of Accounts and Vendors.

• Handle payroll processing and transaction allocations.

• Engage in client interaction and financial statement preparation.

• Conduct tax preparation and other accounting responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

• A minimum of 4 years of recent experience in private company or public accounting with progressive scope and responsibilities.

• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, project management, client service, and time management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software, with a preference for QuickBooks. Creative Solutions & Fixed Assets software proficiency are a plus.

• Ability to embrace and learn new technology to solve client issues.

• Experience in developing strong remote team relationships based on trust, accountability, integrity, and sharing of best practices.

• Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality while working with client data.

Work Hours & Benefits
