Title: Senior SQL Server DBA
Locations: Remote
Duration: 6 months
Pay Range: $40 - $45/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
Description:
Responsible for administration, performance, availability, and security of Client SQL Server environments supporting production workloads.
Core Responsibilities
•Manage production SQL Server environments, including provisioning, patching, and upgrades
•Ensure high availability and disaster recovery (e.g., AlwaysOn, failover clustering, log shipping)
•Perform backup, restore, and recovery operations
•Monitor and optimize database performance, queries, and indexing
•Support application releases and validate database changes
•Implement security controls, access management, and compliance standards
•Perform capacity planning and forecasting
•Troubleshoot incidents and drive root cause resolution
•Support Azure SQL / cloud-based deployments where applicable"
SKILLS_REQUIRED
"•Client SQL Server (on-prem + Azure SQL)
•T-SQL, query tuning, indexing strategies
•HA/DR technologies (AlwaysOn, replication, clustering)
•Backup/recovery tools and processes
•Monitoring and performance tools
•Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS"
