Senior SQA Analyst

• Independently plan, manage, and execute testing activities while maintaining ownership of assigned deliverables and deadlines. 

• Analyze business and technical requirements, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to improve quality and test coverage. 

• Develop and maintain Test Plans, test cases, test scenarios, and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs). 

• Execute functional, system integration (SIT), regression, end-to-end, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). 

• Identify, document, prioritize, track, and validate defects; participate in defect triage and resolution. 

• Collaborate with clients, business users, and technical teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and support testing objectives. 

• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and potential release impacts while recommending mitigation strategies. 

• Communicate testing progress, quality metrics, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and project leadership. 

• Support UAT planning, execution, business acceptance, and release readiness activities. 

• Demonstrate senior-level accountability, adaptability, and problem-solving while supporting QA best practices and mentoring less experienced team members. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant professional experience 
• 5+ years of software quality assurance experience, including senior-level responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, testing methodologies, and defect management.
• Hands-on experience with functional, integration, regression, SIT, and UAT testing.
• Experience developing Test Plans, test cases, and RTMs.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or comparable test management tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver quality results with minimal supervision.
• Strong client-facing communication, relationship-building, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to identify problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Experience in consulting, government or complex enterprise environments preferred.
