We are looking for a Senior Linux Systems Automation Engineer to join the On24 Cloud Infrastructure team on a contract You will help with the migration of our Linux estate from CentOS to Rocky Linux automate infrastructure operations with Ansible and support production systems including coverage during US morning hours You will also help run our ELK stack and support its migration to Datadog

Key Responsibilities

Plan and carry out Linux OS migrations from CentOS to Rocky Linux across production and nonproduction environments with minimal disruption

Build maintain and improve Ansible playbooks and roles for provisioning configuration management patching and migration tasks

Support production Linux systems respond to incidents troubleshoot find root causes and carry out fixes

Provide coverage overlapping US morning hours for operational support and escalations

Administer and support the ELK stack Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana and assist with the migration of logging and monitoring to Datadog

Document runbooks migration procedures and operational standards

Work closely with Cloud Infrastructure SRE and application teams to coordinate changes and maintenance windows

Proven track record of delivering OS migrations or largescale upgrades

Strong troubleshooting skills at the OS network and process level

Able to work independently and communicate clearly with distributed crosstimezone teams

Available to provide regular overlap with US morning hours
