Senior Specialist - Package Implementation

As a Senior SAP SD Consultant you will design configure support and continuously optimize SAP Sales Distribution solutions for order management plant determination ATP availability confirmation fulfillment routing delivery scheduling shipping controls and backorder processing across a multidistribution center network

This role requires deep SAP SD OTC expertise strong understanding of fulfillment and inventory allocation processes and the ability to bridge standard SAP ERP functionality with highly customized enterprise routing material restriction and fulfillment control rules You will partner with business stakeholders product teams architects developers and supply chain teams to deliver scalable compliant and businessaligned SAP solutions

Education and Certifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering Supply Chain Business or a related discipline from a recognized institution

SAP SD certification or SAP S4HANA Sales certification preferred

Additional certification or exposure in SAP Logistics Execution Supply Chain or OrdertoCash processes is advantageous

Required Experience

8 years of handson SAP SD OTC functional configuration and support experience in large enterprise environments

Strong experience in standard SAP SD functionality including sales order processing delivery processing schedule line confirmation shipping route determination and integration with MM inventory processes

Proven experience configuring and maintaining SAP SD plant determination using CustomerMaterial Info Records Customer Masters and Material Masters

Experience designing and testing ATP check groups checking rules scope of check and Transfer of Requirements for dynamic stock confirmation

Experience supporting complex distribution fulfillment inventory allocation or multiDC order routing models

Essential Skills

Deep expertise in SAP SD configuration order fulfillment plant determination ATP schedule line categories delivery scheduling and backorder processing

Ability to set up and manage order routing logic and material restriction rules to control geographic and regional product fulfillment

Strong knowledge of shipping conditions transportation groups and route determination rules to enforce transit restrictions and carrier compliance during order entry

Ability to troubleshoot complex sales order confirmation inventory allocation fulfillment source determination and delivery execution issues

Strong functional specification writing testing stakeholder communication and crossfunctional collaboration skills

Desired Skills

Experience with SAP S4HANA Sales and Advanced ATP preferred

Exposure to EWM TM warehouse operations transportation execution or external fulfillment orchestration platforms

Experience with IDocs APIs middleware integrations and custom enhancement frameworks

Experience in SAP ECC to S4HANA migration modernization or largescale transformation programs

ROLES RESPONSIBILITIES

Plant Determination and Fulfillment Source Configuration

Configure and maintain standard SAP SD plant determination hierarchies using CustomerMaterial Info Records Customer Masters and Material Masters

Ensure accurate fulfillment sources are automatically proposed during order entry based on customer material and fulfillment rules

Analyze plant determination issues and recommend sustainable configuration or design improvements

ATP Schedule Line and Inventory ConfirmationDesign configure test and optimize realtime ATP check groups checking rules and scope of check

Manage dynamic stock confirmation and Transfer of Requirements to support reliable customer order commitments

Optimize schedule line confirmations and delivery scheduling logic to improve order promise accuracy

Order Routing and Material Restrictions

Set up and manage order routing logic to support geographic regional and networkspecific product fulfillment strategies

Configure material restriction rules and fulfillment controls across a multidistribution center network

Partner with business and supply chain teams to align routing rules with operational and customerservice priorities

Backorder Processing and Rescheduling

Execute support and optimize backorder processing and rescheduling runs to reallocate inventory efficiently

Prioritize inventory allocation based on customer priority stock availability and business rules

Analyze exceptions failed confirmations and inventory allocation gaps and drive corrective actions

Shipping Route Determination and Compliance

Configure shipping conditions transportation groups and route determination rules

Enforce transit restrictions and carrier compliance requirements during order entry and delivery processing

Collaborate with logistics and transportation stakeholders to improve route accuracy and fulfillment
