Position Type: Full-Time
The Senior Specialist, Engineering Services will support the design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic, mechanical, and software systems within aerospace and defense programs. This role involves hands-on engineering support, system validation, and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high-quality system performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Supportdesign, documentation, and requirements management for engineering systems
- Performsystem/subsystem testing, verification, and validation (V&V)
- Conducttroubleshooting and fault isolation on complex systems
- Performelectrical and mechanical diagnostics and repairs
- Executeexperimental and operational testing
- Work with engineering teams to resolve technical issues
- Supportconfiguration management (Agile CM system)
- Build and repaircables, radios, and hardware components
- Usetest equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, voltmeters)
- Track and manageengineering assets and hardware defects
- Supportfield testing and product acceptance activities
- Preparetest reports, failure analysis, and documentation
- Order and manageengineering materials and components
- Bachelor's Degree inElectrical Engineering or related field
- 6+ years of relevant experience(or 4+ years with Master's / 10+ years without degree)
- Experience withengineering testing, troubleshooting, and validation
- Hands-on experience withelectronic systems and hardware
- Ability toobtain U.S. Security Clearance
- Experience withtest equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, voltmeters)
- Strong troubleshooting skills acrosselectrical/mechanical systems
- Experience withsystem-level testing and fault isolation
- Knowledge ofengineering processes and documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and solve complex technical issues
- Experience withRF systems and Software Defined Radio (SDR)
- Knowledge ofRF components (ASICs, PLLs, DACs, amplifiers, power systems)
- Experience withsurface mount technology (SMT – 0402 scale)
- Familiarity withIPC standards (IPC-610, IPC-620, IPC-7711/7721)
- Experience withConfiguration Management tools (Agile preferred)
- Experience withfailure analysis reports and test documentation
- Experience managingelectronics labs or calibration systems
- Experience withprocurement / P-Card purchasing
- Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Systems integration and validation

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Required)
