Senior Specialist - Data Engineering

We are seeking a Senior Qlik and Talend Specialist with 12+ years of experience in data integration and analytics. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Talend Studio and Qlik, with the ability to design scalable data solutions and deliver actionable business insights.

Job Description

·Design, develop, and maintain data-integration workflows using Talend Studio.

·Create interactive Qlik dashboards and reports that deliver meaningful, actionable insights.

·Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand and translate data requirements into effective solutions.

·Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability.

·Implement data-quality and governance practices across integration processes.

·Leverage Snowflake for cloud-based data storage and retrieval where appropriate.

·Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and production support.

·Troubleshoot and resolve data-integration, pipeline, and reporting issues.

·Stay current with emerging tools, trends, and best practices in data integration and analytics.

Roles and Responsibilities

·Lead the design and implementation of complex data-integration solutions using Talend Studio.

·Develop and maintain Qlik dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

·Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.

·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective data solutions.

·Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies.

·Conduct code reviews and promote best practices in data integration and reporting.

·Coordinate with cloud architects to use Snowflake capabilities effectively.

·Drive continuous improvement across data processes, tools, and delivery practices.

Required Technical Experience

·At least 5 years of hands-on experience with SQL, stored procedures, and table design.

·At least 5 years of experience in SQL query optimization and improving ETL data-loading performance.
