Job Description Cybersecurity Tooling Engineer

CTS Enterprise Network Services team in Budapest is looking for a Senior FullStack Software Engineer specializing in Network Automation Tooling In this role you will be at the forefront of transforming enterprise network operations into a softwaredefined automated and intelligent ecosystem

• You will design develop and maintain internal developer platforms portals and orchestration engines that automate critical network operations across thousands of devices globally Key use cases include scheduled automated software upgrades prepostchange validation test suites configuration drift detection and multivendor API integrations spanning Cisco Arista Check Point Palo Alto Networks and Cisco ISE
• Additionally this role leads the adoption of Agentic AI workflows within Network Operations NetDevOpsAIOps enabling autonomous diagnostic assistants intentbased network validation and intelligent workflow orchestration

As a Cyber Security Engineer you will

• Software Engineering FullStack Capabilities
• 4 years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python FastAPI Pydantic asyncio or Go
• Solid handson experience in modern frontend development React TypeScript JavaScript HTML5CSS3
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs WebSockets and asynchronous task queues Celery Kafka Redis

Network Automation Protocol Knowledge

• Practical experience automating network devices via REST APIs NETCONF RESTCONF SSH Netmiko Scrapli NAPALM
• Familiarity with enterprise routing switching and security fundamentals BGP OSPF VLANs ACLs IPsec NAT TLS
• Direct API integration experience with at least two major enterprise vendors Cisco Arista Palo Alto Networks Check Point or Cisco ISE

Automated Testing Lifecycle Experience

• Experience building automated test suites for network state verification eg pyATS Robot Framework Pytest
• Experience with automated scheduled upgrade or patch management engines

DevOps Platforms

• Strong Linux system administration fundamentals and Bash scripting
• Experience with Docker Containerization and Kubernetes OpenShift
• Version control mastery Git and CICD pipeline implementation
