We are seeking external architectural consulting services to support two strategic initiatives:
- Design of a scalable platform architecture for scheduling optimization that integrates across complex system landscape and definition of architectural standards, interfaces, and integration patterns
- Evolution of an existing conversational AI solution landscape through the preparation of architectural decisions, guidance of feature enhancements and the evolution of existing AI-driven solutions
The Solution and Software Architect will build on existing strategic materials, requirements, and architecture guidelines. The focus lies on developing and refining architectural concepts and ensuring consistency between architecture vision and system design across both initiatives.
Key focus tasks include:
- Define end-to-end solution architectures across multiple systems and internal software architectures at application level
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, IT landscape, and governance standards while bridging high-level solution design with implementation-level decisions
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solution and software architectures, including APIs, data pipelines, event-driven architectures, AI services, and chatbot solutions
- Define architectural components, interfaces, and interactions to ensure a coherent and robust system architecture
- Develop and document architectural decisions using Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and maintain corresponding solution and software architecture documentation
- Ensure architecture meets non-functional requirements such as scalability, availability, performance, security, and maintainability across both system landscape and application implementation
- Evaluate and propose suitable technologies and frameworks for AI-driven solutions, chatbot platforms, and scalable backend systems
- Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies across system integrations and application-level design
- Provide architectural input for transitioning analytical proof-of-concepts into productive applications
- Align architecture concepts and outputs with relevant stakeholders at defined checkpoints
